Meanwhile, Jared Kushner, the man who has been tasked with brokering some kind of immigration “solution,” thinks that low refugee numbers are no big deal given the scale of the global problem. Kushner’s grandparents came here after surviving the holocaust, and our admissions process then was so restrictive they had to lie to get their visas.
